This policy explains how Focused Reality handles personal information for our event, portrait, corporate headshot, branding and editorial photography services, including enquiries and gallery access through FR Print.
Information in your enquiry
Our contact forms collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, preferred date, location and photography brief. Required fields are marked on the form. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry.
Responding to you
We use your enquiry details to follow up by email, discuss your photography needs and availability, and work through the next steps with you.
Photographs and project information
Photographs can identify people. If your project involves privacy concerns, restricted access or limits on how images may be used, tell our team when discussing the brief.
Website and service providers
We use Hostinger for our websites, enquiry forms and business email. Form notifications also reach our business Gmail account. We use Pixieset to deliver photographs, including galleries linked from FR Print. These services process the enquiry details or images needed to provide their services. They operate internationally, so information may be processed or stored outside Australia. Their own privacy policies also apply when you use their services.
Cookies and marketing
Our enquiry forms are for responding to your request. Submitting an enquiry or choosing another service of interest does not subscribe you to ongoing marketing. If you separately agree to receive marketing, you can withdraw that choice by contacting Gwen. Hostinger and linked gallery services may use cookies and technical information to operate their services. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors use and how they find our website, helping us improve our content and services. Google may process technical and usage information outside Australia. You can accept or reject optional analytics cookies using the website’s cookie controls. We do not use Google Ads, Meta Pixel or Hotjar integrations on this website.
Storage and retention
We retain enquiries that do not become bookings for 12 months after our last contact. Records connected with bookings, accounts or legal obligations may need to be kept longer. We retain photographs indefinitely as part of our photographic archive; this does not guarantee that an online gallery will remain available indefinitely. Contact Gwen to discuss access, removal or restrictions on an image. Any request will be considered alongside client agreements, publication rights and applicable record-keeping requirements.

Our team will review your request, may ask for information to verify your identity, and respond using the contact details you provide. If a request cannot be met, we will explain why and discuss the available options.
